OBITUARY: Waseca Journal, July 18, 1928 - Robert Brisbane Dies After Year's Illness
Robert Owen Brisbane, the seven-yr-old son of Owen and Mayme Brisbane, died at one o'clock Sunday afternoon as the result of Hodgkins disease. He had been ill for a year. He was born on November 2, 1921. A brother and sister, Helen and Jack, are living.
Funeral services were held at 8:30 yesterday morning from the Brisbane home and at 9 o'clock from the Sacred Heart church. Interment was made in the New Richland Catholic cemetery, with services conducted by the Rev. J.J. Treanor. Robert Powell, Orville Sotebeer, Donald Erwin and James Sexton acted as pall bearers.
