I have an incident similar to this in my immediate family --- - and the family members, i.e., children of my family member, have no idea how it happened (YOB on stone does not correlate with other family records but "the stone has been cut" so, even though family is not happy, "we have to live with it as the gravestone was very expensive and removal/replacement of same type of stone or similar type of stone would be even more expensive" ..
