Alfred Pelt fought in Civil War w/28th Texas Cavalry, died in Camp Nelson in epidemic of measles and typhoid in 1862. He is buried in confederate cemetery.
Elizabeth Taylor died in Indian raid in Henderson, Polk County, TX in 1870. Amanda was orphaned by the age of 11.
