W.L Pringle was a young cowboy & farmer, when he and Maud Morgan were married 16 Aug 1903 at the Tom Green Co. Carnival, Fair & Rodeo. Two flat bed cotton trailers were pulled together in the center arena with over 600 witness in the grandstands. They as newly weds received many fine gifts from San Angelo merchants including two lots in one of the first new housing additions. Their wedding was written about in the Standard-Times with photos and over a half page of detailed gifts.
