Funeral for Charles E. "Chuck" Vivian, 70, of Decatur will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Bass officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Vivian died Tuesday at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 4, 1923, in Clovis, N.M. He was a U.S. Navy Air Force veteran of World War II, a retired Lockheed Co. employee and a member of the Episcopal church.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Little Vivian; three sons, Charles Frank Vivian of Santa Fe, N.M. and John Robert Vivian and Michael Allan Vivian, both of Houston, Texas; two stepdaughters, Jean Cannon Windham of Birmingham and Laura Cannon Barron of Santa Clara, Calif; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Barry Bryon, William Loomis Sr, Edward Wilkinson, Jack Risse, Gary Arnett and Dave Bouska.
