After the death of his first wife in Jan 1903, Charles married the widow Mrs. Martha "Mattie" (Harris) Tyler 12 Aug 1903 in St. Francis County, Arkansas. The marriage was performed by W. b. McLaren and recorded on page 420 book I.
Mattie Sybert's son James Franklin Tyler registered for the draft Jun 5 1918 in St Francis County, Arkansas. He listed his mother Mattie Sybert as his nearest relative and residing in Colt, Arkansas. There was no mention of his step father Charles Sybert.
It is believed that Charles Sybert died sometime between 1910 and 1918 and he may be buried in an unmarked grave in an abandoned cemetery one mile west of Colt. To date we have failed to find any other mention of Charles Richard Sybert.
Of interest ~ Martha Harris Tyler Sybert is a cousin.
