BOTTINEAU John Allard, 93, Bottineau, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, in a Bottineau nursing home.

He was born Aug. 9, 1917, to Bert and Lilly Allard, in Dunseith. He married Olivine Cote in April 1941 in Willow City. He served in the Army from Nov. 16, 1942, until Oct. 9, 1945.

Survivors: daughters, Betty Heinz, Overly, Carol Buxbaum, Sidney, Mont., Mary Hiatt, Bottineau; sons, Kenny, Fessenden, Larry, Dunseith, Clayton, Bottineau, Duaine, Willow City; 26 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Wednesday, 10 a.m., St. Mark's Catholic Church, Bottineau.

Burial: St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Dunseith.
