Terry Sue Whiting, 67 of Kincaid IL, passed away at 3:32 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 in Memorial Medical Center; Springfield, IL
Terry was born October 19, 1943, in Taylorville, IL the daughter of Arson David and Laura Jane Center Clerick. She married Richard L. Whiting in Kincaid, IL on June 24, 1962. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1989. She retired from medical recording in 2005 from Memorial Medical Center and the Springfield clinic. She worked as the South Fork Township Clerk from 1989 until her death. She was a member of the Kincaid Church of God, Kincaid, IL, also belonged to the PTA and was a Boy Scout Den mother. She loved hot air balloons or anything that flew. She enjoyed cooking shows and loved her granddaughter Kylie. She was able to attend her 50 year high school class reunion and visit and reminisce with her classmates.
Surviving are her son, Jarrod Whiting of Springfield, IL; daughter April (Whiting) Nall of Kincaid, IL; granddaughter, Kylie Grace Nall: step granddaughter, Jordan Ledbetter; and nephew, Bob Erio of California. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, sister and husband.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, at Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville, with Rev. Larry Bond and Rev, Mark Lush officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL
