Jamie loved music and had a beautiful voice. She participated in choir most of her school years and attended several competitions. She also enjoyed swimming, practically swimming before she learned how to walk. On more than one occasion she had to pull her brothers from the lake. She enjoyed reading, taking walks, spending time with her family. She loved watching baseball games both live and on television. Along with her Mom and family toured several baseball fields. Jamie was an avid Atlanta Braves fan.
Jamie was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Mary Burns, Jerry Mallard, Chub and Wynona Bowles and Uncles Ernie Burns, Isaac Mallard and Gerald Mallard.
Jamie is survived by her husband Victor Sabido, their son C.J. Sabido, father Larry Mallard of Indiana, mother Linda Mallard and brother Jeremy of Tia Juana, brother Jarod and his wife Lindsey along with their children Wyatt and Rose of Colorado Springs, Colorado, grandmother Irene Burns of Fairland, Oklahoma, uncles Lewis Mallard, Tom Oats and his wife Teresa all of Jay, Oklahoma, George Oats and his wife Sue of Claremore, Oklahoma, Troy Oats of Burns Flat, Oklahoma, aunt Karen Gibson and her husband Josh of Fairland, Oklahoma, stepchildren Jesus, Aisha, Mary Ann and Zani Sabido of Renton, West Virginia. Jamie leaves behind many great-aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 prior to the Funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m., on Monday April 4, 2011 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ketchum, Oklahoma with Reverend Skip McLain and Perry Flershinge officiating. Jamie will be laid to rest at Ketchum cemetery with graveside services under the direction of Eddie Fontanez. Serving as casket bearers will be Jeremy Mallard, Jarad Mallard, John Robert Burns, Dwight Buffington, Jason Hitchcock and Lewis Mallard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
