Murder Victim. One of the victims of the DC Beltway Sniper, she was killed while vacuuming her minivan at a local Shell Station. When still in junior high, she decided to become a professional nanny and moved to Oregon in 1996 to receive training. She was hired by a District journalist as the live-in nanny; relocating to Northern Virginia to assume her duties. She married an Honduran immigrant; they had one daughter. Although saving for their own home, they had recently moved to an apartment in Langley Park which was closer to her new job as a day-time nanny.
