Frank Hardman Stanley, 75, former Salt Lake grocer, and car salesman, died Wednesday 6:45 a.m. at his residence, 2445 E. 39th South of a coronary occlusion.

Mr. Stanley who had owned and operated the Eight West Grocery until his retirement 12 years ago, has also been an carry member of the Salt Lake City Fire Dept.

Born June 1, 1885 in Bountiful, he was a son of Frank and Harriet Hardman Stanley. On August 21, 1905 he married Eva Pearl West in Salt Lake City.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mr. Stanley had helped in the construction of the 26th Ward chapel. He had served in the 26th Ward where he resided until moving into the East Mill Creek Ward, 12 years ago.

Survivors include his widow, a son and daughter; O Frank Stanley, and Mrs. Lon (LaVerne) Coombs, all of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Kingdon and Mrs. Alice Giles, both of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be announced from 255 S. 2nd East.
