Kristin K. Moore, age 54, passed away in Norman, OK on May 16, 2002. She was born on November 7, 1947 in Oklahoma City, OK to Harry Moore Jr. and Monta Maurice Burrow Moore. She grew up in Lindsay, graduating from Lindsay High School in 1966. Kristin was the Lindsay High School Rodeo Queen and went on to attend college at OU. She was a special education teacher at Moore-West Junior High School. Kristin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed animals especially her two cats, nature, her work with the children and traveling with friends and family.
She is survived by parents, Harry Moore, Jr. and Maurice Moore of Lindsay; brother, Kent Moore and wife Duchess of Lindsay, niece, Andrea Moore of Austin, TX; nephews, Kent Moore IV and Michael Moore of Lindsay; aunts and uncles, Judge and Mrs. Joe Shumate of Pauls Valley and Chauncy and Joanna Klingensmith of Pauls Valley and cousins, Jay and Lisa Shumate of Pauls Valley, Erin Duffy of Raleigh, North Carolina, Leslie Klingensmith of Maryland and Chan Klingensmith of Washington, D.C and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church in Lindsay on Monday, May 20, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Gardner conducting the service. Pallbearers will be Charles Holt, David Cheek, Roger Runge, Wayne Copeland, Joe Star and David Pitchlynn.
