FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. J.J. WILCOX
Last Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, funeral services were held here for Mrs. J.J. Wilcox. Mrs. Wilcox passed away early the morning of the same day after fourteen weeks of acute illness from Brights disease. She is survived by her husband, Mr. J.J. Wilcox, a son Floyd and a little adopted son Henry. Mrs. Wilcox had well reached the evening of life, having been born in Jackson County, Michigan some 77 years ago. Interment was in the Fillmore cemetery.
Some five years ago, the Wilcox family moved into the Pahvant district to make their home. Among their scattered neighbors in that locality, they have made many friends and as a result of their frequent visits to this community, they also have a great many friends here. Due to Mrs. Wilcox's poor health, she has lived in Fillmore the past few months and the past few weeks, while she has been acutely ill, the other members of the family have been here with her. That this good lady was universally loved by those who know her is evidenced by the beautiful floral tribute and respects paid her at the last earthly services held in her behalf.
