Donald E. Winchester, 67, of Ravenel, husband of Betty A. (McCurdy) Winchester, died on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 11 o'clock AM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street, Summerville. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Ravenel Cemetery, 5970 Highway 165, Ravenel. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock PM.

Donald was born on August 21, 1943 in Rapid City, SD, son of the late James D. Winchester and Della M. (Neitzel) Winchester. He graduated from Rapid City High School. He was a member of the Masonic lodge #206 in Megget, SC and was a Master Mason. He was a automotive technician for Jones Ford.
Surviving in addition to his wife Betty are: One Son: James D. Winchester (Chanté) of Johns Island, SC; One Daughter: Cheryl A. Winchester of Zebulon, GA; One Grandson: Aaron M. Winchester of Johns Island, SC; Three Granddaughters: Shatasia J. Simmons and Madison M. Winchester of Johns Island, SC and Sara E. Winchester of Zebulon, GA; Father & Mother-In-Law: Calvin (Pat) & Sara McCurdy; Five Sisters, Four Brothers, Sister-In-Laws, Brother-In-Laws, Nieces and Nephews.
