Chico Enterprise-Record, Thursday, February 12, 1959: "William H. Goodbaudy. William Henry Goodbaudy died early this morning at Butte County Hospital in Oroville following a rather long illness. He was born near Ponca City, Okla., April 6, 1894. In 1916 he married Sallie Bradsher, she preceded him in death in 1929. For the past ten years Mr. Goodbaudy, who worked as a cook much of his life, made his home at Garberville. For the past three months, however, he has lived with a brother in Chico.

Surviving relatives include two brothers, Clarence, of Chico, and Lawrence, of Sebastapol; one sister, Alta Bing, of Lawton, Okla., and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Case Funeral Chapel to pay their last respects from tomorrow evening until Monday. It was Mr. Goodbaudy's request that no services be held. Burial will be in the Dayton Cemetery Monday afternoon."
