Summer of 2013: I found the final resting place of William's mother at High Ridge Cemetery. After her death, his father married again. William and his second wife moved to Belmont (town) Belmont Co., OH.

Samuel Giffen was born April 25, 1840, died Nov. 26,, 1926. He was married to Sarah Jane Bleakmore. A second marriage to Sarah J. Morgan. Mr. Giffen was engaged in the confectionery business at Harrisville, OH. He was a member of the U.P. church and for twenty years Mayor of Harrisville.
