Mildred Lynn (lena minnie - baptized name)Tredemeyer Brewer, daughter of the late Alvin August Gerhardt Tredemeyer and Clara Mae Mischer; mother of Gloria, Ralph Brewer, Jr., Janice, Rhonda; grandmother of Brandon, Sean,Jessica, Greg, Nicole, Keith, Shannon, Shelley and Steven; greatgrandmother to 7,passed away on Saturday November 14, 1981 after a lengthy illness (leukemia). She was born in Old Glory, Texas; sister to Lorene Emma Dodd and Travis Roy Tredemeyer; 4th child born to Alvin and Clara. by the 1940's she was living in New Mexico and then in 1941 or so, the valley for a short time before she married in Corpus Christi, Texas, Dec 1, 1950, Ralph E. Brewer, and embarked upon the life of a Navy wife. She traveled quite a bit during her marriage, stationed in various places, San Diego, California, Oak Harbor, Washington, Corpus Christi, Texas, oakland California.
She returned to the Rio Grande Valley in 1970 but left again to move to Galveston and then to Houston, Texas.
