Marion Leroy Coppess, 71, died Tuesday, December 1, 1998, of heart failure at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Ind. He was a resident of Maywood, Ind. and a Pressman for the Indianapolis Star until his retirement.
Survivors included his wife, Dorothy Coppess of Maywood, Ind; two sons, Marion Ray Coppess, David (Leah) Coppess; five daughters, Dottie (Ozzie) Stamm, Betty (William) Beasley, Bobbi Jo (Robert) Hall, Susie (Bill) Davis and Haley (Mike) Belcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Tobias Coppess and Alta J (Fogleman) Coppess.
