Evelyn E. Tomkowiak, 82, Plover, formerly of Loyal, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at her home.
Evelyn Ella Ziehl was born Jan. 14, 1927, in Fredonia, the daughter of Charles and Alma (Hilgendorf) Ziehl.
She was united in marriage to Ervin M. Tomkowiak on Sept. 24, 1949, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Survivors include her children; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Leona Heartlein, Milwaukee, Lorraine Klug, Grafton, and Violet (Howard) Burks, Shell Lake; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery in Loyal.
