Funeral services for Cloyd Sersain, 89, Moscow, formerly of Caldwell, who died Saturday in a Moscow nursing home, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Dakan Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Don Frank of Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church, Caldwell. Interment will follow in Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.

He was born May 4, 1891, in Coalton, Boyd County, Ky., where he was reared and educated. He served in the Navy from 1910 to 1915. He married Peggy Grace Faulkner on March 29, 1917, in Alva, Okla. They lived in New Mexico and Colorado. They moved to Seattle in 1924. In 1932, they moved to Caldwell, where they farmed. He served on Canyon County Commission for five years. He had been a member of the Canyon County Board of Education and had served as a county school bus supervisor. He was a member of Boone Memorial Presbyterian Church, Caldwell Kiwanis Club and Canyon County Grange Credit Union.

He is survived by his wife of Moscow; a son, Gale of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Ruth E. Brogartti of Denver, Colo., and Winfred Robinson of Moscow; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two children.
