MOTHER OF MRS. WALTER GILLIOM DIES

MRS. MARY MURTAUGH, 82, DIES AT DECATUR; RITES WEDNESDAY

Decatur, March 3.-Mrs. Mary Murtaugh, 82, widow of William Murtaugh and a resident of this city since 1913, died at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at her home following a cerebral hemorrhage. Surviving is a son, Joseph Murtaugh, and two daughters, Mrs. Marie Deininger and Mrs. Walter (Jean) Gilliom, all of Decatur; five grandchildren, two brothers, Dan and James Finnigan, Windbridge, Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Staat, Wheeling. W. Va. Mrs. Murtaugh was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Gold Star Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary. The body, at the Zwick Funeral Home will be returned to the residence where friends can call after 7:00 p.m. Monday. Services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the V. Rev. Msgr. J. J. Seimetz officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
