Elizabeth Ward Johnston, 89, widow of Ernest Burns Johnston, formerly of Belton, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville.
Born in Pendleton, she was a daughter of the late William Lee and Lillie Mae Mounce Ward. Formerly: Retail store clerk.
Survivors: Sons, Ernest Burns Johnston of Lilburn, Ga., and M. Ward Johnston of Anderson; and seven grandchildren. Predeceased: A daughter, Elizabeth.
Visitation: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Cox Funeral Home. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Friday at Old Silverbrook Cemetery, Anderson.
