OBITUARY
"Mrs. Cora Finch Brokaw, formerly of Richburg, died at the McConnell Nursing home in Angelica Thursday morning, March 18, at 10:30 o'clock, says the Advocate.
She was born in Richburg 61 years ago and was the oldest of four children. She was the widow of Dorr Brokaw who died last January. Dorr Brokaw, Jr., a student
at Angelica, is her only son. One brother, Jesse Finch of Friendship also survives her.
Mrs. Brokaw was a former school teacher in Richburg and vicinity where she had resided for many years and was held in the highest esteem.
The funeral services were held at the First Baptist church in Richburg, Saturday afternoon. Rev. R.W. Entwistle officiating. Interment was made in the Richburg cemetery."
