JOHNNY L SHUCKAHOSEE

Indian tribal service for
Johnny Laroy Shuckahosee, 72, Shawnee,
who had lived in the McLoud and Harrah
area since 1920, will begin at sundown
Friday at the Alvin Cadue residence
one mile north of Harrah.

Graveside services will be at 11 am Saturday
in the Walker Cemetery, McLoud, directed by
Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. He
died Sunday at a Shawnee hospital.

Shuckahosee, who was born in Horton, Kan.,
was a retired painter. He was a World War I
veteran and a member of the Native Americn
Church, Kickapoo Chapter, Harrah.

Survivors include three sons, Frank, of
Perkins; James, of Wisconsin, and Tommy
Blandon, address unknown; four daughters,
Mrs Gladys Wabski, Atchison, Kan., and
Oresa, Jacqueline and Vera Ann Shuckahosee,
all of Harrah, and three brothers, Isaac and
Lewis, both of Horton, Kan., and Albert,
Topeka, Kan.
