Mary Jane Wilson, 85, Kokomo, passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 22, 2005 at her home.

She was born March 19, 1920 in Bunker Hill to Weldon H. and Bernice L. Lowry Turner. She married Wayne E. Wilson Oct. 17, 1943 in Peru, and he preceded her in death April 2, 1988.

Wilson graduated from Peru High School in 1938, and attended Indiana Business College. She also was a homemaker and worked at Delco Electronics, Dr. Morrison's office and Miller Furniture Company. In addition, she was a member of Judson Baptist Church, PEO Chapter CY, Church Women United, Christian Women Club, Thursday Sunday Club, Kokomo Travel Club, Sigma Game Sorority, past president of American Field Service and director of the fund drive for Mother's March of Dimes.

Survivors include two daughters, Constance Wilson, Chicago, Ill., and Cheryl Ann DeWitt, Bluffton, Ohio; a grandson, Seth Little, Denver, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Mary Scott, Kokomo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Judson Baptist Church, 1995 North 750 West, Kokomo, with the Rev. Gary Britton officiating.

Burial will be in North Union Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville. Memorial contributions may be to Judson Baptist Church or PEO Chapter of CY.
