Margaret "Peg" O'Brien, 82, of Brainerd, formerly of Manhattan, N.Y. Attended Brainerd Schools and the College of St. Scholastica. Retired fashion industry executive employee of Carters, Carson Pirie Scott and O'Brien Mercantile Exchange. Survived and loved by brother, Lawrence (Larry), Plymouth, Mass.; many cousins; seven nieces and nephews; one great-great-nephew; cherished pet Cindy. Preceded and loved by brother, Cornelius (Con); sister, Mary Catherine (Mickey); great-niece, Michele White; mother, Sarah (Sadie); father, Cornelius (Neil). Peg was an independent soul who took what life gave her with heart, passion, fierce determination and great courage. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2008, at St. Francis Church, Brainerd. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
