Frank was born Sept. 24 , 1913 to Frank and Anna Nunes in Ferndale. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Marie Deniz in Orland April 24, 1946, and has been an Orland resident since 1949.
He is a retired dairyman, a member of the VFW in Orland, a member of the Holy Ghost Society in Orland, a former board member of the Glenn Milk Producers, and a former board member of the Plaza School District. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Frank is survived by his wife Marie Nunes of Orland; sons Dennis G. of Weaverville, Gary G. and David G., both of Orland; sisters Belmeda Sousa, Alice Mello, Emily Simmons, all of Orland; and Evelyn Weaver of Paradise; and seven grandchildren.
Rosary will be Thursday, Oct. 22, 7:30 P.M., at St. Dominic's Church in Orland. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 23, 10 A.M., at the Church. Burial will be in the Orland Catholic Cemetery.
