Mr. George William Latham, 73, of Route 1, Dumor, died at his home Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1988. He was a retired carpenter and had formerly worked at Lewisburg Planing Mill.
He was a son of the late Henry and Eudoxie Hope Latham and was born in Dunmor Dec. 13, 1914. He was a member of Dunmor Baptist Church.
The funeral was at Price Funeral Home in Lewisburg Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wendell Lovell and the Rev. Floyd Steele officiating. Burial was in Hughes Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harold, Leonard, Lawrence and Lloyd Gardner, Ricky Latham and Kent Slack.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula Mae Latham; one son, Henry Latham of Evansville, Ind.; one brother, Kyle Latham of Dunmor; two sisters, Annie Slack of Fordsville and Nannie Gardner of Route 1, Dunmor; and three grandchildren.
