Beaumont, Nov. 23--Funeral services for George Cope, 35, oil driller, who was killed Wednesday night in an automobile collision on the Houston highway near Amelia, were held this morning at the Roberts chapel. Rev. L.D. White, officiated, and burial was in Magnolia cemetery. O.L. Chapmond of Beaumont, driver of the car in which Cope was riding, and H.L. Lee of Houston, who was driving the other machine, are recovering from injuries suffered in the crash.
