Patricia Ann (Lux) Shay, 57, of Orangeburg, S.C., formerly of Ford City, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg. She was born May 26, 1951, in Kittanning, daughter of Irene Sabo Lux, of Kittanning, and the late Frank A. Lux Jr. She was a Registered Nurse at Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank H. Lux. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Dennis John Shay; three children, Crystol (Harold) Brown, Christopher John (Hope) Shay and Catie (John) McClain, all of Orangeburg; four grandchildren, Christopher and Hayden Brown and Hunter and Savannah McClain; sister, Kathleen Contrucci-Weedn (Dr. Victor W. Weedn), of Kittanning; and brother, Michael E. (Pamela) Lux, of Shrewsbury, Mass. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at MANTINI FUNERAL HOME INC., Ford City, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday followed by funeral service at 10 a.m. in Christ Prince of Peace Parish with Father Thomas Trupkovich officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to TRMC Foundation, 3000 St. Matthews Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118.
