Half the Dobbs children were born on the Todd County side, the other half on the Stearns County side (give or take).

CLEARY – In this city, at the residence of her brother, W. E. Dobbs, on Friday, December 22, 1899, Mrs. Francis Minnesota, wife of Thomas F. Cleary, and daughter of J. C. Dobbs, in her 33rd year.
Deceased was born in West Union, and until her marriage, twelve years ago, resident at home with her parents. Since that time she has lived in Evansville, Little Falls and elsewhere, her husband being in the employ of the railroad. She leaves two children, six and eight years of age. She was buried on Sunday last from the Methodist church, Rev. C. B. Brecount officiating.
