Sue Crisp, age 81, of Murphy, NC passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 in Milledgeville, GA.
She was a native of Sparta, GA, and the daughter of the late Merritt C. Johnson and Mary Ann Carr Roberts. Sue was a retired seamstress with Brumby Textile. She loved sewing, crocheting and working in the fabric shop in downtown Murphy.
She is survived by her husband, Jerrell E. Crisp, two daughters, Geneva Ann Moody and Linda Dianne Brown both of Milledgeville, GA, two brothers, Harold Johnson of Conyers, GA and Jack Johnson of Milledgeville, GA, one sister, Vera Williams of McIntyre, GA, three grandchildren, Sherry Hill, Doug Allen and Deneise Gulledge, five great grandchildren, Tiffany Hill, Brooke Allen, Daniel Allen, Dustin Gulledge and Nicole Gulledge, one great great grandchild, Josie Kittle, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church. Rev. Jimmy Morrow and Rev. Robbie Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jon Crisp, Alton Crisp, Cameron LeJuene, Bennie Crisp, Jeremy Woody, Roy Rathbone, Sherman Morrow and Bobby Thrasher.
