OBITUARY

JOHN W. MYERS

John W. Myers, 60, of 7446 W. French Drive died at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1992, in Union Hospital. He was co-founder of Myers Brothers Building Supplies.

He was born Aug. 15, 1932, in Vigo County to Leroy Myers and Fannie May Keegan Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lund Myers; one son, William of Williamsport; one daughter, Melodie French of Terre Haute; one brother, Fred of Terre Haute; six sisters, Roxie McPheeters of West Terre Haute, Ethel Hamilton, Mary Halloway and Helen Kable of Terre Haute; Rita Hammond of Des Moines, Iowa, and Shirley Vasquez of Walnut, Calif.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of the Church of the Living Faith, Prairie Creek Sportsman's Club and Prairie Creek American Letion Post 404.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday in Debaun Idaho Street Chapel, with the Rev. Eddie Myers officiating. Burial is in Watson Cemetery, with military graveside rites by the American Legion 404. Visitation is before services Friday. There will be no visitation today.
