Daughter of Rice Duncan and Clora (unknown maiden name)
Lucinda married Aquilla Parker in Sullivan County, Tennesee aprx. 1823
They had 9 daughters and one son. After the death of Aquilla Parker in 1851 , Lucy came to Iowa. Where her girls married well. Their only son Boyd, died at an early age of 8yrs. in Tennesee
Her girls were:
Nancy, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Rosannah, Sarah, Matilda, Lydia, Priscilla Jane, Lucinda Emmaline

Taken Before 1861. The photo is from a "tin type". Lucinda's Mother Clora, was captured by the Cherokee Indians in the late 1700's. A half breed by name of Ellis Harlan (he had long yellow hair) rescued her. This is in the Historical records of Sullivan Co., TN.
