She was a homemaker and of the Christ of God faith. Mrs. Everett was survived by her husband, Charles Everett, of the home; a daughter: Judy (Everett) McCain, of Simpsonville, SC and an adopted daughter, Renee Everett, of Charlotte, NC; an adopted son, Charles Everett, Jr., of Honea Path, SC; a brother: Edd Knighton of Woodruff, SC; two sisters: Lora (Knighton) Whitmire, of Easley, SC, and Pat (Knighton) Yarborough, of Vocabille, CA; and two grandchildren: Lean Nailof Broken Arrow, OK and Summer Everett of Boiling Springs, SC.
The family received friends at the Lanford Funeral Home, Friday, December 22, 2006. Graveside services were the same day, at the Heritage Memorial Gardens, Rev. Steve Keys, officiating. Memorials may be made, in memory of Mrs. Everett, to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The Lanford Funeral Home, of Woodruff, SC, was in charge of arrangements.
