Virginia Inez Bleemel
BLEEMEL, VIRGINIA INEZ, 90, of Mt. Washington, returned to her heavenly father on Friday, September 8, 2006, at Wesley Manor Healthcare Center. She was born November 19, 1915 to the late Clyde and Eunice Eldridge. Virginia was a former member of the Kentucky General Assembly for the 31st House District, a member of Bullitt County Homemakers Association, Baptist Women's Association, Mt. Washington AARP, Mt. Washington Alumni Association, a Kentucky Colonel, and a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington, where she was active in T E L Sunday School Class and the Young at Heart. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Bleemel; and her daughter, Bonnie Breeden. She is survived by three grandchildren, Wayne (Patti) Breeden, Denise Williams, and Lea Ann Breeden; two great grandchildren, Chase Williams and Jillian Breeden; her son-in-law, Bill Breeden; two sisters, Mildred Yankee and Doris Badgett; along with several nieces and nephews. Virginia was a loving grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, special Mammaw to Chase and Jillian; a caring aunt, and a treasured friend to all who knew her. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday and noon-8 p.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to her church's building fund, Wesley Manor or Hospice of Louisville.
