BEST, MABEL M. (BLACK) -- ST. PETERSBURG - Mrs. Mabel M. Best, N. of Emlenton, RD 3, Turniphole, wife of Jasper J. Best, died at 3:15 a.m. Sunday in Oil City Hospital. She was born January 1, 1891, in Callensburg, a daughter of Grant and Margaret Kilgore Black. Mrs. Best attended the Callensburg United Methodist Church. Surviving along with her husband, Jasper J. Best, are a son, Robert E. Best of St. Petersburg, a grandchild and four great grandchildren. Two daughters are deceased. Friends will be received at the Karle D. McKinney Funeral Home in St. Petersburg from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday In the funeral home with Rev. Frank Tulak, pastor of the Callensburg United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Loope Cemetery at Turniphole. The Derrick, Oil City, Pa., Monday, June 5, 1972. Pg 2
