Ashlen Kate Emerson, infant daughter of Stephen Oliver Emerson and Cynthia Mensinger Emerson of Loganville, died Friday, May 17, 1996. She was born at Northside Hospital, and lived for fifty-five minutes. Graveside service was Friday May 24 at Gwinnett Memorial Park. Ashlen was survived in addition to her parents by two siblings, Kayla Mensinger and Stephen O. Emerson, Jr; and maternal grandparents, Wilda and Charles L. Mensinger, paternal grandparents, Katherine and James Emerson, Jr. and great-grandparents, Polly and Charles Mensinger, Sr. She was also survived by her uncle, Lee Mensinger, and her aunt and uncle-in-law, Letha Emerson McCart and Paul McCart, and cousins Thomas Paul McCart, Jr., and William Nicholas McCart, and great aunt, Helen Cash. Her paternal great grandparents were the late Annie Hagood Cash and Thomas Elry Cash, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. James O. Emerson, Sr.
