Mr. Hickox was a retired farmer and member of the Hickox Missionary Baptist Church, having spent his entire life in and around Nahunta.
He was the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Perry Hickox.
Survivors include 4 daughters; Mrs. Ray Chesser, Jacksonville, Fla.; Mrs. Ira White, Mrs. J. P. Jones and Mrs. C. L. Stewart all of Nahunta;
2 sons; Milton Hickox, Columbus, Ohio and Thomas Hickox, Lewisville, Kentucky; 1 brother; Frank Hickox, Nahunta and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at Hickox Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Thomas,
Rev. Lester Dixon and Rev. L. B. Jones officiating with burial in Hoboken Cemetery.
Mincy Funeral Home of Waycross was in charge of arrangements.
