Brian C. Hanninen, age 45, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at his residence in Ashland.

Brian was born September 10, 1961 in Ashland, the son of James W. and Betty J. (Lueloff) Hanninen.

He graduated from Ashland High School in 1979. Brian was employed as a machinist and was enrolled at WITC in Ashland. He enjoyed watching Nascar Racing, especially Number 17, fishing, camping, grilling, baseball and football.

Survivors include his parents, Jim and Betty of Marengo; his sisters, Sheila (Ken) Iacono of Blaine, Minn., Connie (Jim) Culhane of Brule, and Amy (Rick) Holderness of Mound, Minn., his brother, Richard of Marengo; six nephews, three nieces and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 27, at the Mountain Funeral Home in Ashland with Bill Jouppi officiating.
Interment will take place in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Marengo on Friday at 2:30 p.m.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home and continue until the hour of service.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Mountain Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Ashland and Mellen.
