He was a native of Taylorsville, a retired partner in Fanelli Ice Cream Store, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Highview Baptist Church Watch Care Group, Kentucky Orchid Society and Highland American Legion Post.
Survivors include his wife, the former Clara Richeson; a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Boiman of Lake Forest, Ill.; four sisters, Mary Fanelli, Mrs. Frances Johnson, Mrs. Dorothy Young and Mrs. Vivian Stephen; four brothers, Joe, C.A. Jr., Rocky and Frank Fanelli; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at McAfee Funeral Home, 3928 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum.
Visitation at the funeral home, will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
