Orlin Grant Colvin, Jr. "Will be Missed". Beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Orlin Grant Colving Jr., passed away on April 7th, 2011.. As the eldest son of Orlin Grant Colvin Sr. and Annie Wilkinson, Grant honored his parents by graduating from Tropic High School, attending Southern Utah University, and graduating from University of Utah in Electrical Engineering. He worked for various electronic companies and retired from Hewlett Packard.

An active member of the LDS church all his life, Grant served in various callings including a full time mission to Melbourne, Australia, where he met his eternal sweetheart, Patricia Kathleen Tuohy. They were married on December 28th, 1951 in the St. George Utah Temple.

Grant was a brilliant musician and excelled in piano and organ, with a expertise in organ sounds or stops. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by children: Dale and Janet Colvin of Lehi, Utah; Bryan and Becky Colvin of San Jose, California; Gary and Carol Colvin of Puyallup, Washington; Kathy and Jim Blanco of Beaverton, Oregon; Mark Colvin of West Valey, Utah and Karol Patterson of Keizer, Oregon. Siblings: Loyd and Ella Colvin of Salem, Oregon; Carol and Jake Simmons of North Salt Lake, Utah; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister Myrlene Merrill.
