Carlton Erwin Adams
LAGRANGE – Carlton Erwin
Adams, 87, of LaGrange, died Sunday,
July 13, 2003, at his home, following a
brief illness.
He was born Feb. 19 1916, in La-
Grange and was a lifelong resident.
Adams was a dairy farmer and milk
transporter.
He was past master of the LaGrange
Masonic Lodge and a member of La-
Grange Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice L.,
(nee Burrows); son Russell C. Adams
of Curtis, Mich.; daughters Alice Louise
Davis of LaGrange and Elaine Davis of
Wellington; sister, Jean Louise Hudson
of Winter Park, Fla.; and nine grand-
children and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his par-
ents, Erwin and Hazel Adams; broth-
er, Gordon Adams; sister, Rosalie
Wareham; and one grandson.
Graveside services will be Wednes-
day at 11 a.m. at LaGrange Cemetery.
There is no funeral home visitation.
Cowling Funeral Home, Oberlin, is
handling arrangements.
