Jack Dewey Lee

Jack Dewey Lee, Sr., age 58 of Rt. 3 Whitney died in a Temple hospital Saturday, August 6, 1988. Services were Monday at 1 p.m. at Marshall and Marshall Chapel with the Reverend Allan Lane officiating. Burial was in Whitney Memorial Park.
Mr. Lee was born November 17, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The son of Vernon and Ada Berry Lee. He lived most of his life in Hobbs, New Mexico before moving to Whitney fourteen years ago. He married Lenda Moody in May
1957. He was preceded in death by an infant son, John William Lee. He was in the cafe business in Whitney. He was a retired oilfield worker. He served in the U.S. Army from 1947 to 1950.
He is survived by his wife, Lenda Lee of Lake Whitney; one daughter Janeen Ingle of Hobbs, New Mexico; two sons, Rick Lee of Lake Whitney and Jack Lee Jr. of Lake Whitney; two brothers, Douglas Lee of Hobbs, New Mexico and Vernon Lee Jr. of Stockton, California; two sisters, Joyce Pope of Lovington, New Mexico and Faye Coulston of Hobbs, New Mexico, four grandchildren and one great grandson.
