Samuel LaPointe born: 11 Aug 1852 per obituary. However, the headstone reads 1851. Samuel died: 28 Apr 1934.

His wife, Sarah MoRoss born: 09 Nov 1852 per her obituary. However, the headstone reads 1853. Sarah died: 16 Aug 1943.

They married at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Erie, Michigan 22 May 1873 per the Monroe Co. Marriage record. Samuel age 22 and Sarah age 21. Sarah's obituary reads they were married in 1869.
