Edward F. Beahan 89 formerly of Auxvasse, passed away Tuesday April 5, 2011. He was born June 10, 1921 in Wellsville Mo. the son of Elmer Austin Beahan and Flossie Pearl Haislip.

He married Loretta Mae Mitchell in Thompson Mo. on June 9, 1946, she preceded him in death.

Ed served in the United States Navy from 1941 until 1945, during which he served on the USS Quick. He later worked for MODOT at both the Fulton and Auxvasse sheds before retiring in 1982. Ed was an Avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed arrowhead hunting. He was the founding member of the Klacker Club and Hook-Em Inc. He was a member of Richland Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Allen E. Beahan and wife Merrybeth of Columbia, and Ted A. Beahan and wife Gera Burton also of Columbia.two daughters, Linda F. Davis and husband C.W. of Fulton, and Tamara Wieschhaus also of Fulton. thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna K. McQuarry.

Funeral services will be held at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton at 10a.m. on Friday, April 8, with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-7p.m. on Thursday April 7, at the funeral home.
