Mary was my only aunt on my father's side of the family; She married Howard Clyde Blanton in Champaign, IL on 17 April 1943. I first met her in 1957 while on vacation to LaHabra with my family. Later in my life (1967) I visited and stayed with her just prior to my deployment to Vietnam with the Navy. Mary was so kind to me, always being supportive in view of my circumstances at that time.

I wish I would have known her better.

Mary was a dedicated classroom schoolteacher for 20 years. Her enduring love was painting. She became an accomplished watercolor artist after retiring from teaching, painting several hundred pictures for exhibition and for private collections. She was known to say that she was "glad to have a love of beauty and some talent to create some."

Mary was one of four children of Jehu (maybe John) and Eulalia "Eula" (Rothwell) Hull of Warrensburg, MO. She had two older brothers, Frank and Claiborne Hull and a younger sister, Mattie Mildred (Hull) Robinson (FAG # 23530730).
