Earl Roller, 86, formerly of Roxanna, died Saturday at Quaker Heights Nursing Home in Waynesville.
A resident of Roxanna from 1952 to 1989, he resided with his daughter, Katherine Howard of Wilmington until October 1991 when he went to Quaker Heights.
He was a retired maintainance man for the Xenia
City Schools.
Born Dec. 4, 1905 in Blackwater, VA, he was the son of William H. and Rebecca Bledsoe Roller.
He was preceded in death by four brothers; three sisters; a son, Stephan in 1969; and his wife Emma in 1988, whom he married on Dec. 12, 1925.
He is survived by one son, Bobbie F. Roller of British Columbia, Canada; three daughters, Mary Zimmerman of Bellbrook, Katherine Howard of Wilmington, Ruth Ann Estes of Kettering; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; on great-great-grandson; four sisters, Hattie Barnett of Bellbrook, Buena Bowen of Kettering, Pearl Lawson of Kettering, Beaulah Mead of Bellbrook; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Tobias-Conner Funeral Home, 92 W. Franklin Street, Bellbrook, with Pastors Hasco Jenkins and Roger Van Hoose officiating.
Burial will follow at the Fairview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Bellbrook.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
