Today I lost my dad, my friend, my confidant. He was a great man who loved his family. I will miss him but know he is in a better place. You will be missed by your family and friends, people who knew you, loved you.

He was born in Phila. March 4,1925.
He served in the U.S.Army during WW II, and worked at the Phila. Naval Shipyard, and Sears on the boulevard, retiring in '87.
His hobbies included woodworking,camping, and The Boy Scouts.
Survived by his wife of 63 years: Genevieve "Gen" ; daughters, Patricia (Anthony) Wallace,Rita (Russell) Schroeder & son Ricky (Angela) Malandra. 4 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Sisters; Rita (Jack) McGee, Marion (Frank) Vellucci & brother Louis (Maria) Malandra. Aunt Rose DeMucci & many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Preceded in death by; parents, Luigi & Ida (Mirra) Malandra; sister Marie (Frank) Perri, In laws; Maria Malandra, Russell Schroeder.
Interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. on April 8 at 11:30 AM.
