MRS. W. AUSTIN TOLLEY SR. Mrs. Ada McCray Tolley, 79, 57 Beverley Court, widow of W. Austin Tolley Sr., died Friday (Sept. 2, 1966) at 3:30 p.m. in King's Daughters' Hospital where she had been a patient since last Saturday. A native of Augusta County, she was born Jan. 20, 1887, a daughter of the late David Henry and Rebecca Lucas McCray. Mrs. Tolley was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, Oliver Preston Tolley, Waynesboro and William A. Tolley Jr., Staunton; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Evers and Mrs. Lee Cupp, both of Bridgewater and Mrs. Lillian Mynes, Richmond; on brother, Leonard B. McCray, Richmond; also 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held today (Sept. 4, 1966) at three o'clock in New Providence Presbyterian Church near Brownsburg. The service will be conducted by the Rev. John K. Boyd and Dr. R.G. Hutchenson. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Walter P. McCray, L.B. McCray, Harry R. McCray, Graham McCray, W.T. McCray Jr. and Marvin McCray; honorary John M. Ott, Melton Miller, Carl H. Craig, Mack Lotts, Bruce Slusser, Kenneth Beard, McCray Swisher and Charlie Beard. The body will remain at the Fred Henry Funeral Home until 1:15 p.m. today and then will be taken to the church.
